Strap tension tightener Bandlock® Pro

Bandlock® Pro BPST strap tightener is used to tighten 2 straps together. This is mostly used to stabilize timber constructions. The innovative click system makes installation easy and a builder can save a considareble amount of installation time per connector compared to traditionel strap tension tighteners.

BPST fits straps with the width 25, 40 and 60  mm.

Installation

Installation

  • Connect the 2 BPST parts together and insert at least 10 mm on to the thread
  • Connect the windbracing straps to the BPST and click the connector shut
  • Bend the 2 longest pins on each part
  • Screw the BPST further together on the threaded rod to tighten the windbracing strap
  • IMPORTANT - by installation of 60 mm straps, the corners of the strap has to be trimmed so that all 6 pins in the tightener can be used, see installation pics below.
